Another quick iTunes question

cyranoOkay, I'm working on making the transition (or at least exploring and deciding if I'm going to make that transition) and bumping into things that were automatic on the old software but don't seem to work in the new.
iTunes users: Is there a way to look at either a playlist or a CD in-drive and the library of saved files at the same time, to compare?
