This is the day that I begin Project One Day, where I actually measure how much unsolicited bulk email I receive in a 24 hour period. A single day sample is not scientifically approved, but I'm not submitting to a peer-reviewed journal. (I'm just going to alter the data to fit the conclusion I want to arrive at and then post it on the FCC's website.)
This is the day that I try to make rice in the crock pot. It has lots of pepper spices and Italian turkey sausage in it so I don't know if I'll actually be able to eat it when I'm done, either due to mis-ricing or over-spicing.
This is the day I go in and talk to my UberBoos about trying to improve my attitude toward work.
This is the longest day of the year--a day for accomplishing things, a day of adventure and whatnot. And this is my ritual.
