Pumpkins scream in the dead of night
Oct. 31st, 2006 05:44 pmThe curry did not turn out as well as I'd hoped--I think the tinned pumpkin was a good addition, but perhaps the red curry was a mistake.
We got our quarterly bonus checks, which is good because I just paid all my bills online this morning and I was kind of depending on getting it today.
I got to spend time with Ebonlock last night, and Aelfsciene was thinking of me, so that went pretty well.
For those of you who had heard about the dispatch position in St. George, we got more information on the actual position. It would involve moving to Tucson, it looks like, rather than St. George. However, it would also tie me to SkyWest for another three years because they only pay my $5000 tuition if I stay in Flight Control that long. It looks like I would take a pay cut of about a dollar an hour. I'm suspicious that the change in cost of living would balance that out.
So the big obstacles to applying are (a) the fact that I'd have to move and (b) the fact that I'd have to stay in this position for three years.
