Not quite as enlightening but every bit as amusing as GeoffreyChaucerHathABlog, we bring you now TomDeLayHathABlog. And in an entry from today's catch, Mahmoud Amadinejad suffers election setbacks.
Recent non-presidential elections show an apparent strong lack of support for the president and his policies, as many or most of his chosen and affiliated candidates fail to be elected, or re-elected. This is an obvious sign of the president's weakness and disconnect from the realities of the failures of his positions. We hope he will take this repudiation as a sign that his policies are failures and should be abandoned in favor of more sane and productive ideas, perhaps those proposed by opposition party members.
I suspect that when the article is read to him, President Bush will declare freedom on the march.

In other news:
Asleep by three or four.
Awake at... six thirty? Mom is having security issues at the airport and needs me to walk the counter person through some stuff.
Six fifty, and the counter person needs more help.
Ten o'clock, and the dishwasher repair guy says he'll be here in forty-five minutes.
Ten forty-three, and he calls to ask me to open the door.

Did you catch last night's Daily Show? If not you should, Jon talks about IranDecision 2006 and then verbally pummels his guest neo-con Bill Kristol. Big Bill actually whines like a little bitch at one point about how "mean" Jon is to him. Though Jon's reaction to Kristol's "Standing behind Don Rumsfeld is one of Cheney's few mistakes", is sheer poetry: "That is the craziest thing I've ever heard." :)

I was very pleased to discover that I was not the only one who saw the connection.
