Why Not? is one of the most powerful and dangerous questions in the history of the language. It opens a lot of doors, some of which are probably best left closed. The problem is that it's difficult to tell until after they've been blown off their hinges which sort of door they are. If you're prepared to embrace that sort of freedom, and you have a passive restraint system (I recommend front *and* side airbags) then I'd say run with it.
