Nothing better to do

For those of you paying close attention, yes, all I did today was watch television.
I take it back. I tried to start getting things done, but it's a federal holiday and so everything was closed and that knocked my legs right out from under me. So I was useless for the rest of the day. q:

I imagine that would be more the case if I weren't one of those working schlubs who doesn't have a government job or a cushy job and so only end up getting that day off as part of my regular two-day weekend. (Or one day weekend, whichever I get that week.)
