Welcome to your Friday! Kick back, relax, put your feet up, have a cup of tea, and ask me a question.
IAMAQF!

How well do you think my NCAA bracket will do in the end? So far, I have 14 of 16 games correct.

Although I am amused by the idea that the DBC tries to relate all evils in the world back to Farmer MacGregor, the DBC in fact is the idea that the fulcrum was tipped in the balance of good creative television vs. time wasting pandering crap on television at the time when Greg The Bunny was cancelled. Most of the rest of the debate on the Corollary is which direction the fulcrum was tipped.

I did cosplay as Simon for the Serenity sneak preview, and as Jack for the From Hell premiere. I don't know if dressing as Lorne, or as Gulliver for All Hallow's counts as cosplay or not, but most of the time I'm not looking to reproduce a specific character so much as evoke a genre or a period.

I think that with a little luck you can go 16 for 16. If there are two games left, you've got a 25% chance based on pure random chance.

Is IAMAQF a meme?

Hrm. Dawkins calls a meme any unit of cultural information which can be passed on from one mind to another. So I see no way for it not to be a meme, since it started out with TechnoCowboy's "Ask Me a Question Friday". However, until somebody on my flist starts doing it, it seems it's a tremendously unsuccessful meme. (: Tenacious, but unsuccessful.
