After four months away from the gym, I finally managed to overcome inertia. My body pretty much did everything it could manage to stop me; last night it even went so far as to allow me to have a creative burst and want to do some writing. But tonight I defied even that and got what I will certainly regret in the morning--an hour workout.
And, as expected, in the four months spent not going to the gym and not working out, I lost ten pounds.
