Monday you can fall apart

cyranoTonight Merlin discovered that I'm a lightweight. News flash. Way plenty enough to drink--this really really fine vodka and cinnamon schnapps that made me cough. It was a very small Entropy party--usually there are goodly more folks there. But usually they're not competing with eleventeen other parties. Tersa made yummy food and I ate lots of it, and I listened to the Elf Cadre swoon over Legolas. Well, Ebbie and I listened. She seemed pleased to have somebody in her corner. And I wore my orange Christmas present which disoriented my roommate significantly until we gave her another drink, and lovely nice AngieUnDusted gave me another present which I fussed over a lot.
And then Ebbie saved me from a CalTrain ride home.
(Brief digression and flashback: I took CalTrain to the party. CalTrain started free service at eight. Which means the train was full of drunken slobs who decided to start their party early and share their obnoxious behaviour with the entire civilised world. Sometimes I really hate people.)
Anyway. We got to talk, about music and stuff in general, and it was really nice because I hadn't ever really gotten to sit with her unless it was with a half dozen other people as well.
Well. So far the new year is much brighter and gayer and all sorts of neat shiny crap like that. I'm going to bed before something spoils it.
