Just as a reminder, even though my story is no longer the least bit like a western, I'm still planning on showing a bunch of westerns on Sunday the second. I've got a few on hand, and you're welcome to bring your favorites and try to convince people they want to watch them too.
I've got: Dodge City (Haven't seen it), Desperado, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Firefly, The Quick and the Dead, Ride With the Devil, The Magnificent Seven, Zorro the Gay Blade, Tombstone, Blazing Saddles(VHS), Dudes(VHS), and Thunderheart(VHS).

I don't have PowWow Highway, High Plains Drifter, Six String Samurai, the Shootist, Bad Day at Black Rock, 3:10 to Yuma, True Grit, High Noon, Brokeback Mountain, the Lone Ranger, anything with Tom Mix or Sugarfoot reruns, or Paint Your Wagon. Among other things.

We're usually ready to receive guests on a Sunday morning by eleven or twelve. I may crock pot some of Cookie's famous beans, but don't count on my having something to eat handy. (:

Wow -- that sounds like a blast. I'd bring along The Unforgiven, were I to attend.

I would, but I'm going to a showing of Blade Runner: The Final Cut on Sunday afternoon. (opted out of the midnight showing)

Oooo. That's a winner. (Still very surprised that it's not showing anywhere near me.)

It's nowhere near as motivating as the reasons I already have. (:

There are these two delightful people I know in the area, one of whom I have not seen in far too long and the other I have never even had the pleasure of her company. The idea of spending time with both of them in a dark room is attractive, but it's only the lovely orange peel garnish on a dish that's already exquisitely prepared.

Why has your journal suddenly been rated PG-13 and hidden behind cuts?

Oh, I hadn't thought about the folks who didn't list a birthdate.
I changed my default setting to avoid having people complain.

I haven't seen it in a very very long time, but you can't go wrong with Gene Hackman and James Coburn, can you?
