cyranoI finally managed enough personal reading time to finish my birthday present--Coyote Road, an excellent anthology (as are most of those assembled by Datlow and Windling). Not only are the stories good, but many of them came with emotional impact.
I love short stories.
And I especially love Will Shetterly's "Black Rock Blues"--he is right to be proud of this one.
I especially love Kij Johnson's "Evolution of Trickster Stories Among the Dogs of North Park After the Change"--what happens when dogs get stories.
