Mar. 23rd, 2008 09:46 pmAh, Torchwood. My days of feeling ambivalently about you are certainly coming to a middle.
"A Day in the Death" was a very enjoyable episode that suffered (much like "Adam") from the Last Ten Minutes syndrome, wherein all good will that had been built up for the episode was vigorously and enthusiastically dispelled in the last ten minutes.
Also? As a warning for those who might care, contemplation of suicide plays a significant part.
Yesterday was a drive over the mountain for a co-worker's St. Patrick's gathering with yummy corned beef (salty! fatty!) and hot tub and Baz Luhrmann.
We went to Whole Food Nation (the new gigantomart in Cupertino where you need to have your passport stamped to get into the frozen foods section) and I got way overpriced smoked salt, and CHOCOPODS!
Then I went over to Aelf's and watched Night of the Lepus (which was awful and I'm glad I had the company to watch it with) and Black Sheep (which was everything I had hoped it would be--it reminded me a lot of Dead Alive).
Doing laundry now, and soon there will be bed.
