My Aim Is True
Apr. 12th, 2002 11:43 pmToday I was invited over to Erik's parapet. Well, I was invited to the whole apartment (with friendly dog and aloof but accepting cats) but the balcony was the best part. It's on that housing plot up in San Mateo with hundreds of condos perched over the bay, and the balcony is up three floors and so the view is lovely. And after sundown there are pretty fairy lights and the breeze and the water going shoosh-shoosh down below and it was just very lovely.
Our hosts were also lovely, and I had my first exposure to Queer as Folk (which was engaging) and Munchkin (which was interesting, and which I surprisingly won seeing as I play games by intuition and thus tend to get soundly trounced at strategy games; I highly recommend misdirection and subterfuge).
