Smells Like Teen Severin

Severin: In the bottle and wet, all I get is a light citrus note. Not that I object, but the online description says 'black teas and and leather'. As it dries, I begin to get a hint of the leather. The scent is very subtle--only people who get close are going to notice it. I've tried this one before, and didn't recall the results. This may be why; it's nice but not particularly memorable.


EDIT:
Tersa suggests that the citrus note I'm getting is likely bergamot, since one of the teas is an Earl Grey. (I had no idea. I may have to try an Earl Grey now.)

I am told that I am very sniffable. (: (And I was worried that this one would fade quickly, as light as it was, but two hours later I can still smell it.)

Severin is an absolute favorite of mine, but it needs to age a bit in the bottle first. Tuck it away and let it sit for a few months, then try it again. You'll notice the difference.

So noted. I already have the Coyote and the three full bottles (apparently I moved at the right time--they're implying that Carnival Diabolique is being retired this fall) which I bought this time on the 'aging track', so I'll add this one on.

Out of the bottle, still similar. But I'm definitely getting the warmer leather notes, once it's on my skin. The astringent/citrus scent is almost completely absent.

That sounds about right, and is very similar to my experiences of it after it's aged. Also? Severin is a rare now, as it has been discontinued from the Lab.
