With a Girl in a Time Machine

You know that moment? The one when the A plotline and the B plotline both suddenly look up at you as if they hadn't noticed you standing there before, and they say "Oh yeah, we can both resolve in the same scene just before the commercial break--this is how it'd work..." and then go back to playing Parcheesi or smoking or whatever they were doing?
I need more moments like that.
(Now.... to avoid breaking the characters....)

Isn't breaking the characters the point of drama? I mean, as long as you don't break McKee, that is.

It's far easier when they're *my* characters to break. If you only get one character, then there should be some consideration taken so that it's still fun for you. If Marian is catatonic, then that means that I don't have to worry about plotting for her, but it also means that her player is going to be stuck knitting all night and watching other people solve the Mystery in the MysteryMobile.
