cyranoCoolest thing I saw this weekend, aside from the 'Repeal Prop 8' Rally:
The Mountain View library has installed toilets with dual-flush mode for water conservation.
This warms my heart in a way that golf courses in Bakersfield do not.
The MV rally was the smallest that I know of in the Bay Area, but that meant it was cozy. I hung out with a half dozen friends, and saw a couple of others but didn't get to touch base with them before blood sugar levels and an impromptu march took me out of the picture.
