Or maybe I just need to get out of the house for a while. Walk to the store? I have an mp3 player. How cold is 66 degrees? Probably jacket weater. Been a long time since I did a three mile walk.

I'm thinking jacket, for 'just in case'. Plus, even if the outside pockets are sewn shut, there are three inside pockets for stashing mp3 player, keys, phone, etc, and I can leave the purse at home.
I'm also thinking of re-stocking the mp3 player so that it's themed for walking. Because it can't be simple. (:
(I can pick up some chocolate bigger than your head while I'm there.)

My apartment is kept at 66...if I were to walk 3 miles in a jacket in that, especially given how out of shape I am right now, I'd be a grouchy overheated mess.

Excellent! (: Now I have both ends of the US spectrum.
As it turns out, three miles in a jacket is a little warm, but the breeze helped. The main problem is that my casual jacket is a little small, and pinches through the shoulders. (But I love the colors--it's soft grey with these subtle brown pinstripes.)
