So you don't have to.
Nov. 30th, 2009 06:10 pmI became interested in Adam Lambert (not Christopher, not Christopher) when I saw an article about a young gentleman who had been excused from appearing on one of the network morning shows for some suggestive behavior in a performance earlier. This led me to believe he was some sort of musician. And then there was further discussion of him over Hobbits, and his American Idol history, and I decided that I should essay to discover what his music was like.
And after a trip to YouTube, I can report to you all that he's a perfectly competent pop singer. If you like that, he's got an album coming out soon.

Date: 2009-12-01 08:05 am (UTC)My cousin pointed out that Rihanna and Adam Lambert's pictures on their album covers are disturbingly similar. I saw his performance at the AMAs (the one that led to his Good Morning America appearance being canceled) and he seems to me like a bad parody of Peter Murphy (not his music, just his performance and look).

Date: 2009-12-01 08:26 am (UTC)Speaking of Rihanna (I *think* she is/was dating Chris Brown) I saw a quick blurb on feministing today comlaining that Chris Brown was getting an appearance on whichever morning show Adam Lambert didn't, and listing an address at the network to write to asking why domestic violence is cool but kissing a boy is not.

Date: 2009-12-01 04:10 pm (UTC)But kissing a boy? That's disgusting! Sex between men is sort of okay in prison and war, because, like, there are no women around and men have needs; they gotta meet them somehow. But ain't no need for kissing, that's extraneous when all a *real* man needs is a convenient hole.
Glad I could clear that up for you. ;)
