That reminds me, I should really spend some time reading A People's History of the United States. I was quite impressed with the first few chapters (it was the first time someone had explained to me in a way that made sense how racism became so utterly engrained into Southern American culture), but I got sidetracked with moving and whatnot...

It has its flaws, but I'll be damned if it wasn't revolutionary for its time. I love that book.

They're talking about him on KPFA (94.1FM) this morning on Democracy Now, but I think they're about to change gears.

I loved his work, and his stances.
