cyranoOne way to get yourself out of bed quickly in the morning, without that interstitial sleepy stumbling about bit:
Open your eyes and realize that you forgot you had a radio show to do last night *plus* a work related dinner up in Palo Alto on ECR.
It will probably take you at least ten seconds to remember that you don't have a work related anything and that you're no longer affiliated with the radio station. But by that point, you're out of bed, you've grabbed your phone, and you've thought of four different excuses to give.
