I listened through the entire album in the car, which means I'll want to listen to it again and pay a little more attention to it. It was a very pleasant listen, and I enjoyed it and bopped along, but nothing really stuck. I didn't feel the emotional depth, and it was like the higher production values had smoothed and polished out all the charm and heart of the first album. There was no Gravity, no Next Stop Vegas Please, no Love Song, no Many the Mile.
It's better than almost all other sophomore albums, because I *did* like it. But... I was hoping for another "When the Pawn...".
