Evening update, take 2

As expected/feared, CJ is spending tonight at the hospital as well. He's still a little weak, and his temperature, while dropping, is still a tiny bit high. (It's 99.3, which is riiiiight on the edge of the acceptable range.) This evening confirmed the "worse in the evening" trend, as he declined after dinner.

The good news is that today's "worst" is better than yesterday's "best". The difference is staggering. I wouldn't be surprised if he is released tomorrow, and if he's not, then he will definitely be released on Sunday.

That decline in the evening trend speaks of not just a bacterial pneumonia but that he was/is fighting a virus, too, which is probably why he ended up in hospital. There's no real treatment for those, aside from rest. Please send our love and regards, but also tell him he'll have to rest, rest, rest and when he feels he can get up and move around, to just REST for the next couple weeks. Recovering from this sort of thing takes ages and it's frustrating, but to get back to full health, the constant resting is necessary. *hugs to you both*
