I've wanted an elliptical trainer for many years now, thinking "If there was a form of exercise sitting next to the god damned television, then how could I not use it?" However, for many years now there really hasn't been any space to put one up. But right now, in my bedroom, there's a space between the window, the altar, and the bed where I could fit one and probably see the television still.
Apparently my champagne tastes have bitten me in the ass again. (How's *that* for a mixed metaphor?) I'm a big guy. I don't want one that threatens to tip over if I get more energetic than a sedate stroll. I don't want one that looks like somebody took the bike I had when I was ten and removed the tyres.

This, unfortunately, means I'd be spending about twice what I'm prepared to shell out. sadface.

I suppose, to some extent, it depends on what your tastes are.

For myself, at least. Give me a situation and I can give you, within a 40-60% dependability, if and where it will bite me.
It would be far more difficult for me to give any information about you being bitten.
