I do not want to wait two weeks for the AmberCon game book to open. Nor do I want to wait five weeks to find out which games I'm in.

Instant gratification, damn it! Now now now now!

+ 1,000. I just want to see what other games there are, and what I'm going to have to miss because of the ones I'm running!

I have to say, that's one of the things that demotivates me from wanting to run games, is knowing there's an entire slot of games that are now off limits.

Ah, but running games does help to ensure that you get more of your first choices... :)

I can tell when and what I am running and what Curgoth is running...

Do tell. I've already submitted mine, and I'm pretty locked into those slots. I also know when one other game SHOULD be running (the League of Quantum Gentlemen game). But hell, I don't even know when [livejournal.com profile] cochese is scheduling his games, nor what he's running. We've been a bit behind. :)

I am running my Dude game in the last slot, it is called Fast Times at Chaos High. Curgoth is running Nano Victorian Future and No Higher Authority. You know about NVF, NHA is a shared world game where you play paragons and demigods.

Plus, the sooner I know what I'm in, the sooner I can start working on costuming.

I am less concerned about costumes.

You're not alone. (:
As I discovered last year, it's not a big crowd for costumes.

Which reminds me--I should start looking now for jumpers and ties in green and in blue. (:

Holler if you find the blue in an 8 or 10. :)

Wait... jumper = dress like thing?

That was what I wasn't sure about. :)

I either want a skirt or jumper (as in the kind of dress that Catholic girls wear to school, cuz really, you DON'T wear the short little "schoolgirl skirts" to Catholic school) in Ravenclaw plaid. Probably, though, finding the skirt is my easier possibility.

(I'm so mad that I gave away the fabric that was supposed to be for my ex's kilt... in blue and gray... *grumble*)

Unfortunately, the girls at my school had to have their hems fall below the knee. At least as long as they were on school grounds.

(I have a green-and-blue plaid pleated skirt already, and I can make one of my white shirts work if I can't find something better.)
