Coyote Review: Orphans
Mar. 2nd, 2011 05:48 pmScottish film, with Trainspotting levels of foul language.
*What* is up with films telling me that they're "black comedies" only to forget the "comedy" part?
The funniest bit in this movie about a dead woman and her four children (including a wheelchair bound daughter whose battery dies a third of the way in) is a Billy Connolly tape playing in a van while the youngest son drives around making plans to kill the man who stabbed his brother.
Augh. And I'm probably going to spend the next twenty four hours cursing in a thick brogue.
Aside from being depressing and European, it was okay. Two wags. Well. Two fuckin' wags.
