I don't know how the game handles this yet, but I have to say that in the back of my mind I was thinking "Oh my god holy shit we just *killed* the fucking Arl of Denerim. He is deader than dog doo doo. This is going to have political repercussion, oh laws yes. Remember that civil war we were trying to avoid having? I think it is now officially On. Oh yes, it's On.

Howe had grabbed the title through nefarious means away from the rightful heir/Arl of Denerim...did you find him in the prisons?

So it's not quite as bad as it could've been.
