Rattle my bones

Those of you who know me well enough to drive with me also know how my music works. I would listen to a CD once through (sometimes only half through) and then toss it into the back because I wouldn't want to re-listen for a month or two. The mp3 player with the gigantic storage disk has helped immensely with that, ensuring that I could drive from here to the moon and back at 65 mph and not hear the same song twice.
Which is why I find this even more surprising. Matt Nathanson's new single came out on iTunes this week. For those of us who clamor for his attention on the mailing list, we got it a week early. And, barring internet radio, I've been listening to this same three minutes of music over and over and over. Because I can't stop wanting to hear it again. It's weird. I'm hoping I don't end up hating it.
