Dear LJ Collective:
I have to sing a song in my upcoming play (pimping to follow--clear your calendars for midMay) and I'm looking for a web-based application that will allow me to plug in a simple sequence of notes (no chords, key of f#) so that I know what notes I should be singing and at what cadence. Priority given to something that also allows me to input rests.
Thanks!

Are you at work today? Because I'm currently plugging this into Anvil and I have no idea what format it saves in. (:

My school is too cheap to actually purchase real notational software. I have Finale at home.

How did Anvil work?

Pretty well, after that short frustrating learning curve. I had to download something else to convert the MIDI file, but it was pretty intuitive and I liked it.

Good! Sounds like you're set then. (Having to get a separate MIDI converter is par for the course.)
