Quick review, mild spoilers, X-Men: First Class

Enjoyable but uneven. Yes for goofy spy movie, yes for goofy comic book movie, but no for any time they tried to play serious philosophical or political commentary. Yes for Bryan Singer being on board.
Yes for Kevin Bacon, and more yes than I would have thought for Wolverine. And yes for any excuse to get Rose Byrne into suspenders and stockings. No for overwrought Nazi stuff. Yes for Beast. And yes for that cute flirty relationship between Darwin and Havok omg so cute.
