I miss the hell out of In & Out. We have Five Guys here, and these freaks seem to think that Five Guys > In & Out. They are terribly, horribly, stupidly wrong. I would sell babies for a Double Double Animal Style with Animal Style Fries right now.
I have to say that with the possible exception of the spicy fries, I'm right there with you. I tried to convince them a couple of times to cook the onions long enough, but was unable to do so.
There's a Five Guys here, in Sunnyvale, now. thistle_chaser has blogged about going there and said it's wildly overpriced for the food you get.
I haven't felt compelled to do an independent validation, not with an In'n'Out mere blocks from my house, and Clarke's (which is local) if I want to overpay. :)
