You Can't Stop the Music
Oct. 25th, 2011 01:17 pmMy Live365 membership due (a little over $100) comes due in January. I'm currently trying to decide whether I want to renew or not. I like the idea, and I like having my show. But the interface is fussy and customer service is... pleasant, but slow and not always helpful. I find myself on tt.fm if I want to listen to something myself, because there's more feedback and intimacy. But at the same time, I like having this up 24/7 without my having to monitor it, and I like a place that's *mine* where I can talk a little about the music.
What I'm saying here is that I'm waffling. If you have thoughts, please feel free to share them. Also keep in mind that other people enjoying this makes me enjoy it more. Imagine the power you hold--your thoughts, your opinions could sway me on this matter. You could be a Kingmaker!
(Oh also. If I get clever and industrious, I'm hoping to have a new programme up before AmberConNW. And if you will be attending and would be willing to post a flyer for me, let me know. AmberConUS got a special "worker's playlist" but I have no idea what I'd do for Portland.)

Date: 2011-10-26 02:19 pm (UTC)What about a thumb drive? I have 3.5 GB worth of music storage on my thumb, and could probably put an entire show on one with room to spare. Shipping's lower, transport is easier, and I would think it'd be quicker to get it on a portable music player of whateve flavor.
