I've been thinking about Fiasco since I realized I wouldn't get to sign up for The Final Fiasco at ACNW. This morning I starting Googling for Fiasco playsets and realized that I have no idea what makes a good playset. I also realize that playing more Fiasco will help with that. In the meantime, this is a placemarker for me.
If you have thoughts on the matter, please feel free to kick in. (And yes, I know that what makes a good playset is good players. Thanks.) If you have sources, outside of the Bully Pulpit website, for good sets, or reccomendations and reviews, this is also a good place for coments.

I've played the Action News one, which was a lot of fun, but virtually any of them would work with the right player mix.

Dave Chalker, who wrote Alma Monster, is a friend of mine, and it was actually in his basement that I played Fiasco. :) It probably appeals to unknown random gamers more than typical, so would be a good choice.

It's a fantastic barely-a-system-system for improv-style roleplay.

Yeah, the framework is very much "I'll just get out of your way, sorry" which is why I figure that the elements that make a good playset are that much more important. It's like .... I dunno, palak paneer or something. Spinach, cheese, and butter. So the spinach had better be there.
The Bully Pulpit website has ones that I figure received some sort of sanction, and the Evil Hat one came from Fred Hicks, so I have a degree of trust for them. And now Alma Monster as well.

Oh. Ummmm. I know we played Objective Zebra and The Ice, both with John Nienart, and both were a lot of fun. But again, I know that the company was excellent.
