First Observation of the New Year

cyranoEvery NYE I see a smattering of posts saying, essentially, oh thank god this year is over I hated it fuck you old year the new year had better be an improvement.
This is inevitable.
I have never compared to see how many of these posts are by the same people each year.
I cross my fingers and hope that very few of them are.
And then I step forward into the new year.
