Last year at GenCon, after two playtesting sessions, I bought the main book and a supplement. I asked the nice man at the vendor stand if they had a policy like Evil Hat, where if you buy a meatspace copy of the book then they will provide you with a pdf copy as well. He said he was uncertain, but that I should contact 'them' a week or two after the con when craziness had subsided and they would find out.

Nearly a year passed.

I didn't know who was officially running the booth, whether it be C7 or a contracted subsidiary or Uncle Phil Who Likes Going to GenCon. So I wrote the 'Contact Us' address at C7 explaining the situation and asking if they had any advice.
Within a few days, Dominic the CEO had created a free download for me at rpgnow.com--no questions, no need for a scanned copy of my receipt, which god knows had long long ago vanished into the mists of time. And now I have the Havering Adventures on my Kindle. (:

Eeeeeee. Awesome. I hadn't seen email from him as of last night, but p'rhaps he did so this morning. I'm just happy to know he saw the request.
