Actual birthday

Some of my friends get excited about my actual birthday, and I do not discourage them because I like the attention. Sometimes they get me things, which for the most part I also do not discourage despite my recent purge and desire not to return to a 'full of things' life. Because I still like things.

If you're in the latter crowd and haven't found the thing that says 'buy me!' then you can find lots of gewgaws on my Amazon wishlist, and you can always give money to Deon's trip to Disneyland.

In addition, there are two larger ticket items (well, aside from upgrades to my computer hardware) that I'm not in a financial position to explore right now.

I'd like a new phone, because my beloved Palm Pre has a crack and I do not know how long it will last. I like that it's a smartphone, I like the touchscreen most days, and I like the full actual keyboard.

Shane Hensley is putting together a kickstarter for Deadlands Noir, (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/545820095/deadlands-noir) and he says that just about everything will be available to purchase afterward, so I can grab this stuff later, but I would not mind being able to throw in to help, and the $75 (Mook) level includes the book, dice, and cards. However, this is the last week of the kickstarter, so it's a small window.

Ah, okay. Well, I'd be willing to toss in $25 to the cause, but I'm not sure if there is a way to gift it to you directly through the page, or if I'd have to commit the money to you to do so on your behalf. :)
