Don't worry, I plan to follow my initial plan of 'do every side mission and avoid being put back on the tracks until the last minute'. I did Jack's loyalty mission because she said if I didn't go now she'd snap and kill everybody on the ship except me, but aside from that exception I'm the captain. Besides, I've been told I have to be way more abrasive and Renegade before I take on Miranda's loyalty mission.

Good. :)

LOL. XD

Since you did Jack's first, yeah, it's recommended. I don't know if it's 100% necessary, but leaving her til last might not be a terrible idea at this point. Although, efficiency-wise, I generally do Miranda's while I'm on Ilium picking up the Assasin and the Justicar since it's all the same place (although you'll want to go back to Ilium later, anyway, so it's also kind of six of one, I guess.)
I am partly serious about Jack. I picked her up and each mission after that she was all "srsly we need to go now" and escalating. And Brian said that if I went to Ilium I would not be hijacked into doing Miranda's mission, so I feel safer about going planetside there.

No, I know exactly what you mean. :) I can't say more without spoiling things or showing the rails too much, but I know how Jack is in ME2 and her character so I can understand how you probably interpreted it. :)
FWIW, I pretty much did Jack and Jacob's Loyalty quests as soon as they popped the first time I played it as well, for sorta similar reasons.

But I want to get my first run done in a block rather than chunkmeal.
Understandable. But, given where I recall you're at, I think you still have a ways to go. If you're meaning 'Thursday night after work', I think it would take at least two sessions. If it's all day Thursday, then maybe. :)

Date: 2012-06-19 04:00 pm (UTC)It does not, but I would highly recommend you NOT do the IFF next. That was the thing I said 'If this comes up, ignore Jacob.'
Finish collecting teammates and doing loyalty missions first. :)

Nope, you will not, which is good.
*hop* Looking forward to your future updates. :)
