Swing Low, Sail High
Jan. 27th, 2013 10:22 pmI have a playlist in my iTunes labelled "Greatest Hits". That is where, on account of owning 16,500 songs, I put the things I am most likely to want to hear. It's largely for the iPod's benefit.
After a conversation with Rose, I grabbed a copy of Bright Morning Stars as a Christmas present. I also got a copy for myself, because it was pretty inexpensive and I'd been meaning to listen to them at some point.
Tonight, I started listening to the album to decide which tracks went on "Greatest Hits". Apparently the answer is 'damn near all of them'.
So there's my recommendation. If you like modern folk in the style of Cry Cry Cry with female vocals, odds are good you're gonna like this.
