I made contact with somebody I haven't spoken with in far too long. We go way back, like Rich Dansky levels of way back, from when I was living in Oregon. And she has a blog where she writes things. Like I used to do. Now I've let myself slip into Facebook mode, where I repost a graphic from somebody else, or I slam out a one or two line bon mot. And I miss writing, but I'm not going to guarantee that I'm going to pick up the quill any time soon. Because I've promised myself rather a lot already.
