Still not sleeping until the alarm goes off. Sux0r.
It looks like I just agreed to work Thursday in exchange for not working on Sunday because Paul needs the help and I'm one of the few people who can help. This means a fifty hour week this week, a three day weekend, then a three day week and another three day weekend.
If there's somebody with cargo space that is available on Saturday (or Friday I guess) I'd love to talk to them about moving crap. I have stuff like bookshelves and boxes. (If I can get plastic wrap by then, I'd like to move my two CD shelves without unpacking them and then packing them again because I'm insane.)

Addendum to the good news/bad news file:
Good news--India and Pakistan have re-opened diplomatic ties after nearly two years of bloodshed.
Bad news--they appear to have done so out of concerns that the US will add them to the list of Nations to be Pre-Emptively Invaded.

Leonard Cohen, as done by Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright. You rule.

*beam*blush* Thank you. The version that stuck in my head was the Wainwright version on Acoustic Sunrise on Sunday morning. It's on some sort of movie soundtrack, I think.

Mmmmm

Hmmm. I used to own one of the 'best of' CDs. That might be nice.
(Once I have discretionary funds again, I also want to hunt down a used copy of the "I'm your Fan" tribute album.)

Seconding the insane nomination. How many CDs on these shelves? CDs are bloody HEAVY. like 4 or 5 ounces per. so like 3 or 4 of them weigh a pound. And then add the weight of the shelves themselves.

Depending on painting progress, I may be able to help with some cargo transport. It doesn't look good right now, but things may change between now and the weekend.

I think they fit about 400 each. So that'd be a hundred pounds.
If you were free that would be nice. Plus I'd get to see you, even if you weren't in clubbing gear. (:
