$100 (or so) round trip
Six hours travel time
Somebody else has to drive
I can read or mess around on the laptop
Only three departures a day
Random delays caused by freight
Takes me right into the center of town
The little blue car from Lake Orion to Chicago
$100 (or so) for fuel round trip
Five hours on the road
Can stop for food, or to look around
Must stop for rest breaks
My schedule is my own to keep
Traffic
Takes me wherever I want to go
