Gettin' inked

I don't know if it happens before or after the name change, but I finally
have an image I can point to and say "I want my tattoo to look like that."
I grew up in the PNW, and admired the mythic/metaphoric art of Chinook (and
Salish) totem poles. But Coyote is my spirit guide, and there aren't a lot
of coyote in the area, let alone on totem poles. Last month I finally found
something that mostly works for me. Unfortunately I don't know what the
parts that don't work are. Whoever I see, we'll discuss that among other
things, like where it goes.

The parts that immediately don't work for me are 1) the missing rear leg, and to a lesser extent, 2) the big white space on the chest.

I'm not so bugged by the blaze, but the missing leg would eventually irritate me enough to take a cheese grater to it.

Also possibly the feet? I feel like the feet look foxlike since they come to points, but coyotes have bigger feet with sticky-out toes.
