I feel a little bit exhausted, but I finally have a ticket to see Matt Nathanson at the Magic Bag. And the confirmation email this time says Ferndale, and not Madison. So double yay there. And I only paid twice cover price, not nine times over like the Chicago show.

I'm genuinely curious how you ended up with tickets to the Madison show twice over.

I'm also halfway convinced that I should just sell my tickets. I mean, forgodsakes. I like MN, and I bet it's going to be a great show, but weighing that against a potential thousands-of-dollars payday...

Hell, *I* would like to know how I ended up with a ticket to Madison twice, from two different agents.

And I don't know what you paid as face value, but the highest I saw Evanston go was $350-400.
Which is still a hefty chunk of tattoo funding, especially if you stole Brian's ticket and sold it too.

Currently (or as of a half-hour ago, anyway) there's a singlet listed for $350, and several pairs for truly obscene amounts (cheapest is $5000 apiece, so $10K total). Admittedly, it's possible those latter listings are ploys by scalpers to make the occasional posting for $400 apiece (or similar) look more reasonable, but.

Brian suggested posting our tickets for $10K, just to see if anyone bit. But given that I've never used Stubhub before, I figured I'd rather just have the prestige of going to a concert where tickets were being sold for literally thousands of dollars. :)
