Here is another one of my attempts to fill time. I'm learning to use Siren Jukebox and in the meantime continue to build playlists for imagined mix CDs.
Siren is a fairly inexpensive ripping and burning software package from.... Sonic Foundry. I don't know if I'm familiar enough with it to issue a review, but Cindy is very fond of it. If it can make mp3s without skips in them (which my last software, MusicMatch Jukebox, did) then I'll be pleased enough. I'm sure the software is fairly simple, but I couldn't figure out Napster and this interface is reminding me of that.
Ahhh. I like Sonic Foundry. You might have seen an earlier entry in my journal where I was talking about trying their video editing software. I also need to buy Acid one of these days, since I've been using the demo version to build my own dance remix, "Christianity Is Stupid 2000." Yes, it's been gathering a bit of dust, as the title implies. I can't add more than 8 tracks until I buy a full version of Acid.

Where can I find Siren Jukebox? Haven't heard of it. What's your impression?
