Not much to share

I've been pretty head down for a while, and I expect that won't change dramatically soon. Dealing with moving, trying to get back into equilibrium with my meds, passive-aggressively trading snide comments with my body. You know, the usual. If I generate something exciting (Aside from GotGV2--that was exciting!) I'll let you know.

A friend of mine who's dealing with chronic pain posted something recently that got me thinking: "All my life I've been told my body's something to be fought - whipped into shape, forced into a mold, regardless of what it has to say on the matter. And now I'm surprised that it's reacting like a war veteran with PTSD."

Right now, most of my problems with my body is its reaction to the volatile weather conditions. Headaches, muscles, joints, sometimes my hair hurts. You and I have talked about this, I have never really had a comfortable grasp on how much of my low energy/motivation difficulty is depression, how much is some flavor of CFS or fibro, and how much of it is that I need to get better at kicking my own ass. I'm not certain how to measure if I'm being too hard or too soft on myself. And, in the end, the things that I need to do still need to get done, regardless of what that balance is. I'd like to think me and my body are in this together, but it's more like a fish out of water buddy cop movie.
