This posting will be more or less a list of stuff that happened recently. You are warned.
Thursday night I got another birthday present! which went on my wish list the last time I visited Seattle a looong time ago and 9thmoon showed me her copy. Yay!
Garbage went out. Recycling went out. Dishes were washed. Vacuuming was done. And tomorrow there will be laundry.
Today was a very nerve wracking expenditure. Cindy took me to an audio store and I replaced the stereo which has David Bowie stuck in it with a stereo that plays mp3s and that you can actually put other CDs in. If anybody wants to buy a Blaupunkt with a predilection for Space Oddity, let me know. I think I've justified spending the money to myself.
There was lots of playing video games with the house mate. We each drove Niobe's car and we shot lots of policemen. Then there were vampires. (WTF? Matrix vampires?) And I staked them. Apparently I am the man.
Tonight the 7th Sea game came off four month hiatus. Frustrating when only one player was on time after the chivvying I got to get this session planned, but eventually corraled most of them and got things rolling from the long-ago cliffhanger. Hopefully it was worth the wait. Thank you, my gracious hosts.
And tomorrow I'm covering a shift at work, and Sunday I'm getting my shift extended. And then I start the whole damn circus up all over again.

In case there was any doubt, I am not singling you out, dear. Leigh Ann was my only player there and ready on time, for various reasons, and even when being late is completely justified and understandable it's still frustrating.

But I had lots of fun that night.
