This song is more Joy Division than Joy Division was. I can't tell if the lyrics are misogynistic, darkly romantic, or something else entirely.

I'm a little amused—when I saw your description I wasn't really sure what you meant, but within the first fifteen seconds of audio I was like "yup".

I would totally watch a sequel to that video. I want to know more about the mysterious figures who spirit her away, and what her life is like afterward.

As to the lyrics, I don't see them as particularly misogynistic, at least not set against the "normal" background noise of sexualized violence against women. Which sounds like I'm knocking them, and I'm not, really—sexual feelings can absolutely be obsessive and violent, it's a valid metaphor. But I'd be interested to see the response to a similar song where the woman is the one speaking the title line.
