Why can't I have normal anxiety dreams?

The-girl-I-have-a-crush-on is explaining how she's 'not technically dating' this guy when my cel phone rings and it's work calling to tell me I'm fired for missing a shift I promised to work for somebody else. And then I wake up because the muscle in my neck (which I'd been complaining about in the dream) is painfully tight.

Well. I can't go back to sleep. Might as well feed the cats.

I had an anxiety dream in grade school about missing a bus that, RL, I had been told I could not miss.

Anxiety dreams are whatever make you anxious. Monsters would suffice, but so is getting fired. :}
