Well crap. Due to the fact that I have a job, and one that doesn't give me constant net access, I do not have a ticket to the ass-numbing LotR trilogy show in December. I'll see if I can score one for the San Jose showing, which appparently goes on sale about a week before the event, and go see it on my own. Which, depending on how much tickets cost, I may pass on because the idea of spending half the day alone in a cinema surrounded by people doesn't sound that appetizing.

The six-day work week is probably going to kill me, but at least the month is already a third of the way over so I only have three weeks left. Then I'll start trying to grab extra hours at the airport.

Like a fool, I've re-applied for a GarouMUSH character. Now impatiently waiting for post-approval book keeping to be done so I can start playing.

And while I'm in a whiny bitchy mood, I'll ask my loyal readers. Given the number of people who insist on doing it, there must be one or two of you who decide not to use your turn signals. Why? Do you feel it's unneccessary since people will be able to tell you're turning anyway? Do you think that if you signal somebody will spitefully try to stop you? Is it just more of a pain in the ass than it's worth? I'm honestly interested in knowing.

Edit
Back when I was first learning How To Be A Witch(tm Raymond Buckland) I heard a quote, something like "Any act of joy or love is a sacrament to me." Can anybody give me the exact quote and preferrably a source?

Hey, Chuck!

Googling for "Any act of joy or love is a sacrament to me" returns exactly one link: this here livejournal page. Neat, huh!

Hmm. I fail to signal when I don't think it's going to affect the decisions or safety of anyone else on the road. Those who sometimes fail to signal while weaving in and out of traffic I'll go *out of my way* to not let into a lane by speeding up to fill a hole, or by going slower to not let them pass. Ass hats. And those who are polite on the road I'll go out of my way to accommodate.

People who don't signal aren't the worst species of Evil Driver. The Minivan Moms or SUV Sux0rz who park in the passing lane going exactly the speed limit, and either (1) fail to notice or care when steams of commuters are forced to pass them on the right, or (2) pissed off somehow that people are passing them in the first place -- these are the worst. It takes all the composure I can muster to not lay on my horn as I'm dipping into the #2 lane to pass them, and toss eggs out my sun roof.

SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT YOU BUNCH OF PIG-FUCKING SLOWPOKES.

Hey, this is fun! :-D

Hah! Now I know who you are! And it only took a few months. (:
I try not to be the slow guy, or at least be the slow guy to the right.
