Another day older
Oct. 9th, 2003 09:11 amWell crap. Due to the fact that I have a job, and one that doesn't give me constant net access, I do not have a ticket to the ass-numbing LotR trilogy show in December. I'll see if I can score one for the San Jose showing, which appparently goes on sale about a week before the event, and go see it on my own. Which, depending on how much tickets cost, I may pass on because the idea of spending half the day alone in a cinema surrounded by people doesn't sound that appetizing.
The six-day work week is probably going to kill me, but at least the month is already a third of the way over so I only have three weeks left. Then I'll start trying to grab extra hours at the airport.
Like a fool, I've re-applied for a GarouMUSH character. Now impatiently waiting for post-approval book keeping to be done so I can start playing.
And while I'm in a whiny bitchy mood, I'll ask my loyal readers. Given the number of people who insist on doing it, there must be one or two of you who decide not to use your turn signals. Why? Do you feel it's unneccessary since people will be able to tell you're turning anyway? Do you think that if you signal somebody will spitefully try to stop you? Is it just more of a pain in the ass than it's worth? I'm honestly interested in knowing.
Edit
Back when I was first learning How To Be A Witch(tm Raymond Buckland) I heard a quote, something like "Any act of joy or love is a sacrament to me." Can anybody give me the exact quote and preferrably a source?
