Waiting on the double-E

So I realized that I haven't made a general announcement yet but I didn't get the exec.assistant position. Gina called and started the conversation with 'We want you to know we appreciate your taking the time to apply and to come in and interview--' and I said 'That doesn't sound promising.' And she agreed and said 'If it makes it any better, it was a tough choice.'
And the next time I decide to put off shopping and go to CostCo on Saturday instead of Friday, I have made arrangements for Tersa to beat me with one of her cats. I really really hate CostCo on weekends. Way too many idiots paying way too little attention in way too small a space.
Um. I suppose, all in all, it's a good thing that the DVD of Basketball Diaries from the library failed to play, all things considered. But I'm still annoyed.

I will remind you about CostCo if you remind me about Trader Joe's. Just had the exact same experience. With the addition of an over-full parking lot of morons.

I have the distinct advantage (at least for another couple of weeks) of having Fridays off. Do you have a similar one?
